1) Free Book Find (for permanently or temporarily free books)

Date-specific free book promotions: minimum donation $4 per book, per day (first day) and $2 per book, each additional day

Non date-specific Free books: minimum donation $2 per book, per day .

2) 99 Cent Book (for permanently or temporarily 99 cent books)

Date-specific $.99 book promotions: minimum donation $4 per book, per day (first day) and $2 per book, each additional day

Non date-specific $.99 books: minimum donation $2 per book, per day

3) Bargain Deal (for books over $0.99 but under $4.99--either permanently or temporarily) minimum donation $2 per book, per day (unless date specific, then $4 for first day).

4) Indie New Releases (for books newly released within the past 30 days) minimum donation $2 per book, per day (unless date specific, then $4 for first day).

5) BOOK OF THE DAY (minimum $10 donation) First come basis for specific dates, otherwise assigned by me.

BANNER advertising options.

1) HEADLINE BANNER: Displays a headline banner ad(desired/displayed HTML to be provided by the purchaser) across the top of the Flurries of Words blog site. (HTML script will be adjusted to fit the size of the blog header). The cost is $10 per day (full 24 hours) or $50 for 7 days (full 168 hours). Note: There is only one of these available per day. Please contact me for availability dates. Payment is required to reserve a date.

2) SQUARE SIDEBAR BANNER: Displays a square sidebar banner ad (desired/displayed HTML to be provided by the purchaser)prominently along the side of the Flurries of Words blog site. (HTML script will be adjusted to fit the size of the blog header). The cost is $5 per day (full 24 hours) or $25 for 7 days (full 168 hours). Note: There are only two of these available per day. Please contact me for availability dates. Payment is required to reserve a date.

PAYMENT

Make your payment through the Donate button, and send me an email to either flurriesofwords@yahoo.co.uk or flurriesofwords@gmail.com with links to the book(s), dates you would like the listing to appear and all relevant information. I need at least 48 hours advance notice for options 1-4 and a week's notice for all others.

In the title of your email, please specify which advertising option you want as well as the specific dates to be covered. Please send a separate email for each book you would like listed

Please note that prices are subject to change as needed

ALSO PLEASE NOTE, these prices are for one rendition of an ad only. Because of the labor involved in creating and changing the ads, once the ads have been created, additional charges may apply if the author wants to subsequently modify the ad (e.g. change the description, artwork, advertising options). This will be handled on a case by case basis.

REVIEWS AT FLOW

Beginning on Monday, December 3, 2012, Flurries of Words will begin accepting book submissions for review. All reviews will be conducted on a 1 to 5 star rating scale. Excerpts from posted reviews may be utilized, provided proper attribution is given to both the reviewer and Flurries of Words. Notification of usage is also appreciated. All reviews are the sole opinion of the reviewer and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Flurries of Words staff. Paranormal, thriller, mystery, drama, and comedy are the preferred genres of the reviewer, but all submissions are welcome. The reviewer does, however, reserve the right to refuse any submission based on its content. All submissions will be considered, but we cannot guarantee all submissions will be reviewed. Now Accepting FLASH FICTION

Hi Everyone,

We're starting up a new feature on Flurries of Words (FLOW) for flash fiction. We want to start showcasing flash fiction from Indie Authors in the blog feed. This will hopefully give broader exposure to Indie Authors in small bites that will intrigue readers enough for them to seek out and buy your books.

Here's how it will work: We will read the daily submissions and decide which one(s) will be featured on any given day. There's no guarantee that everyone will be featured but, if you already have something written, there's no harm in submitting. :)

BTW, for FLOW's purposes, flash fiction is 1000 words or less. Apologies, but we will not feature porn, erotica or flash fiction with either gratuitous violence or swearing (maintaining a child-friendly site).

So, if you'd like to nominate your flash fiction to be featured, please email it to us in the body of the email (no attachments please) at flurriesofwords@yahoo.co.uk with the heading 'Flash Fiction submission'.
