AUTHOR BIO

It's not often I will give up my sleep for reading, being the dedicated bookworm that I am I still love a good night's sleep more, but I could NOT put this book down. I absolutely, positively could not resist it. I was up until 2am finishing it. Love, LOVE, LOVED it!!!!
The character, relationship, and plot development are a nearly perfect balance of mystery and satisfying a bit of your curiosity at the same time to keep you entertained and wanting more. The romantic interests and developments there are so endearing and the "love triangle" is quite intriguing. The author does need just a little bit of work on tenses in the copy I read. Switching between first and third person, between the characters speaking in quotes and the author's narration outside of that, there were some minor grammar issues there I noticed. But, I loved the content of the story so much, I still had to rate it 5 stars!
My ONLY disappointment is that the second book isn't already out (*Edit*: I just found this author on FB and saw the second book was just released 7 hours ago - only a month after the first - SO exciting!!) I'm dying to read more about Legacy, Adin, and River and the newest development you get a hint of in the Epilogue. Mercifully, the author has plans to crank out the next books in the series every couple of months, which made me love her even more. Fantastic dedication to your readers who I know will love this story.
I can promise if you pick it up, you won't be disappointed. Don't miss out on this gem!

I received a complimentary copy of this book to review it. I was pleasantly surprised with the book. Once I began reading it I couldn't put it down. The story is an original concept. Having Greek gods and goddesses set in a modern setting is unique. I would recommend this book to just about everyone I know. It is a great book not only for young adults, but adults as well. The story moves at a good pace and you get just enough hints throughout the plot to keep you hooked.
It was a great book to curl up with on a cold day when all my housework was done and the kids were in bed. I was able to lose myself in the story and often found that I was up longer than I intended to be. If you want an entertaining book this would be the one
